LOOSE OR PROBLEM ANIMALS
To report a loose or problem dog, please call 609-267-8300. Give dispatch your name, address, telephone number and problem. You will receive a return call from our Animal Control Officer. Dead dogs and/or cats in the street are removed by the Animal Control Officer, wild animals are not.
ANIMAL CLEANUP ORDINANCE
All pet owners are required to clean up after their pets if they dirty any private or public area including open space and recreation areas, ball fields, playgrounds, sidewalks or streets. Pet owners are required to have in their possession appropriate sanitary means to clean up after their pet when they walk them off their own property.
LEASH LAW
No animal is permitted to run at large on any street or trespass on lands of another person. All animals must be on a leash. |
