For Sale Signs

For Sale signs and Open House signs are allowed to be displayed only on the property for sale. They are not allowed on street corners or development entrances.

Grass Cutting

Westampton Township has ordinances that prohibit the accumulation of weeds and debris. Residential areas must be kept free of trash and must be mowed regularly. Please do not place debris, grass cuttings or branches and limbs on township owned property cut by our Public Works Department.

House Numbers

All buildings must display house numbers at least 4 inches high in numerical (not script) form in a location easily visible from the street and visible on the background to which they are attached (should be a contrasting color). If the building is not visible from the street the number must also be displayed on a plaque or post located on the property near the street.

Street Lights

If your street light is out, please call PSE&G at 1-800-436-7734 with your name, address, nearest cross street and the pole number, if possible, (located on pole at eye level) to have it replaced.

Yard Sales

Two garage/yard sales, up to two days in length, may be held in any twelve month period at no charge. The Township Clerk's office should be notified of the date, time and place of each yard sale.

Vehicle Parking Guidelines

UNREGISTERED VEHICLES - may not be stored or parked on any property without a permit from the Police Department. Unregistered vehicles may only be parked in garages or designated driveways.

YARD PARKING - Motor vehicles, excluding Recreational Vehicles, (see below), may not be parked in any yard area (front, side or rear).

RECREATIONAL VEHICLES - Boats, campers, motor homes, trailers may not be parked in the street. They may only be parked in driveways, side or rear yards.

TRUCKS - Trucks four tons and over are prohibited from parking on any township street.

PLEASE NOTE:
All Vehicles must be parked with the flow of traffic.
Cars in driveways cannot block sidewalks.
Wipers and headlights must be on when there is rain, snow and/or fog. (This is a law)
