RESALE OF YOUR HOME

There is no Certificate of Occupancy (CO) required in Westampton Township. What is required is a Smoke Detector/Carbon Monoxide/Fire Extinguisher inspection.  The fee is $50.00 with a 14 or more day notice, $100.00 for a less than 14 day notice.

You must call the Municipal Building at 267-1891, ext. 6, at least 2 weeks prior to your settlement date to set up an inspection.  Your information will be taken and you will received a call back scheduling your inspection appointment.  For information on what is required in your home for the inspection, please see below.
