Westampton Township, with 7500 residents, is a thriving community with prime commercial acreage, a wide choice of residential communities, the Rancocas State Park which houses the Rankokus Indian Reservation and the Nature Center, and two Country Clubs with 18 hole championship golf courses. Our children attend two modern schools through eighth grade and a regional high school.

 Westampton Township Vision Plan

Our Second Visioning Workshop was held on February 2nd.  The Vision Statement and Goals were discussed.  Click below to find the presentation.

Vision Workshop Meeting #2

The Township of Westampton is developing a Vision Statement to guide its development over the next 20 years.  In the coming months, community members will have several opportunities to provide input on the following questions:

  • How can open space be preserved while the Township accommodates new development?
  • How will the school system accommodate new residents?
  • What areas are appropriate for new development?
  • How can historic resources, open space, and other community assets be protected while accommodating new development and associated infrastructure?
  • How will future roadway improvements relieve congestion while improving the township’s pedestrian environment and pastoral character?
  • How will Westampton accommodate its obligation to the Council on Affordable Housing over the next 20 years, and what areas are most suitable for affordable housing?

Westampton Township and its consultant team, KSK Architects Planners Historians, Inc., have developed an inclusive, township-wide public involvement approach for this project.  Upcoming events include three Visioning Workshops, a series of informal Community Conversations, and outreach in our schools.
